Hi! I’m Ashley Oviedo, a freelance creator based in Houston, Texas.
Photography entered my life at a time when I was still discovering who I was, and it quickly became more than a skill. It became a language. Through a camera, moments gained meaning, movement turned into memory, and emotion found a place to live beyond the moment it passed. What began as curiosity grew into a deep respect for storytelling and the art of visual detail.
Much of my journey has been shaped within the world of powerlifting, where strength, discipline, and vulnerability coexist in the same frame. Working alongside SBD Apparel and world-class athletes taught me how important timing, trust, and presence really are. That awareness now shows up in my music, lifestyle, and portrait work.
Photography has sharpened the way the world is seen through patterns, light, and intentional framing. Cropping becomes a way to emphasize what matters, color becomes a tool for emotion, and perspective invites the viewer closer. Each project offers a chance to learn something new, not only about the craft but about people, movement, and storytelling.
With every project, I endeavor to discover something new. I’m passionate about growing through each experience and preserving not just moments, but also the emotions that accompany them.
I am currently available for work in Houston and open to travel or relocation. Ongoing collaborations include Topset Media and the Tejano band Predilecto. Alongside sports and music, I also capture a variety of photoshoots, including family sessions, portraits, and lifestyle work, continuing to expand this evolving visual narrative.
